NO SCHOOL - President’s Day
School will be closed on February 15, 2010.
Please see the Calendar for additional school events.
Ren Web
Our new ParentsWeb is now available. Please use the information you received during parent orientation to log-in and check-out the information your child’s teacher will be posting for you to view.
Weekly News Flyer
The NewsFlyer will be posted on the Parents Web every Friday. We will no longer be providing a hard copy to those parents with RenWeb access. The content of the News Flyer is intended for our parents, so be sure to check the Parent's Web every week for updated school information.
Absence Reminder
Please remember to call the school office by
8:30 a.m. if your child is sick or will be absent
from school for the day. This provides
ample time for teachers to get the child’s
homework together. Homework will be
available by 2:45 p.m. in the office for
pick–up, or may be sent home with a sibling
at the parent’s request.
Big G Box Tops for Education
Once again, UBCS will be collecting qualifying box tops from General Mills cereals. We can raise up to $10,000 in cash to use any way deemed fit (e.g. computers, playground equipment, library books, or whatever!). It's as easy as 1–2–3:
- Look for the "Big G Box Tops for Education" logo on the box tops of many of your favorite General Mills cereals.
- Cut out and save box top flap
- Turn in all box tops to your child's homeroom teacher.
Cell Phone Reminder
Students are not permitted to use cell phones at school between 8:00 a.m. – 3:15 p.m. Students who bring them to school should either leave them in their car (if driving), or turn them off and put them away in their locker during the school day. (Students may bring locks to school to secure their valuables in their lockers. However, the combinations or a duplicate key must be turned in to the office.)
Any cell phone being used by a student during the school day will be turned in to the office and a parent will need to pick it up. The student will be issued an after school detention for disciplinary action. Thank you for your cooperation. Please direct any questions to the school office at 215-536-9200.
Communication Envelopes
Throughout the school year,on billing dates, communication envelopes will be sent home with the youngest student in the family. There may be additional times when it will be necessary to send information in the communications envelope. Please remember to sign and return the envelope by the date indicated on the envelope.
