Library

Library class is held weekly for students in Kindergarten and every other week for students from 1st through 6th grade. Grade-level appropriate instruction is given regarding proper care of books, different book awards, and the use of the library for research. Students are given an opportunity to check out books that have been proofed and approved to be beneficial to their learning experience. The library is staffed by trained volunteers that love to see our students learn and grow in their reading skills, as well as, provided with interesting and exciting recreational reading.

Computer

Computer classes are held every other week for students from 1st through 6th grades. They begin in the lower grades to teach basic control skill through games and exercises and finish in 5th and 6th grades in Keyboarding classes where the students learn correct typing procedures and speed testing.

Physical Education

Weekly P.E. classes are held for students in 1st through 6th grades in the gymnasium on the main campus. Students learn physical coordination and cooperative play in an atmosphere that is fun and exciting. As they mature they learn more detailed game rules and perform basic sports skills.

Music

Music classes are taught weekly to students in Kindergarten through 6th grades. This class provides sequential instruction in music through listening, movement, singing and playing. The students learn to read, perform and understand music. All students participate in the Elementary Christmas and Spring Programs.

Art

Art classes are held weekly for Kindergarten through 6th grade students. The students learn basic drawing techniques and styles and are exposed to a wide variety of mediums and materials.
