Favorite UBCS Memories

My senior year was a memorable experience. A few of my classmates have become my lifelong friends. I learned things that can't be found in textbooks. I learned concern and compassion and the value of excellence in every area of life. I learned to seek God and to desire his guidance in my life. I will always be thankful to Pastor Harris for his vision of beginning UBCS and for his part in shaping my life.

What does Christian Education mean to me?

God has used Christian education to prepare me for jobs he has for me to do. I am thankful that God has given me the desires of heart in allowing me to marry my high school sweetheart and blessing us with two children. Being a stay-at-home home has been personally rewarding. In addition to being available to Jeremy and Megan it has opened opportunities for service both at Bethel Baptist Church and Upper Bucks Christian School. At Bethel, I have taught in the Rainbow Department (a special education ministry) since 1974, and have been privileged to serve the women of Bethel as the head of the Ladies Alive Ministry - planning and coordinating activities and conferences since 1996. My roles at UBCS have varied over the years, office help, lunch room duty, librarian, stuffing folders, intramural coach and senior mom.

Life Verse

I Corinthians 10:31-Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
