Description of your years at UBCS:
My time at UBCS began as a 6th grader. Three days after school started, I had a bad bike accident which kept me out of school for weeks. My sixth grade teacher was Dave Paul. He had a big impact on my years at UBCS because of his concern and personal involvement for me as a new student that year. Other teachers that I greatly respect (especially looking back on my school years) are Al VanOsten, Rick Harris and John Roberts.
One of my most memorable memories was when, as a 7th grader in a high school revival service, I saw my need for a Savior and I prayed and accepted Christ into my heart. My second most fond memory of school was when I was seated next to a girl named Lisa in first period study hall, who is now my loving wife.
Both of these events have been life changing and I'm thankful to have had the opportunity to go to UBCS.
What does Christian Education mean to you?
Christian education is very important to Lisa and I. We have two sons, Austin and Sawyer and a daughter, Christina, who attend UBCS. As parents, we see how impressionable our children are and how influential the world's philosophy is on our society. We are grateful for all of the teachers, administration and staff that invest in our children each day for the cause of Christ.
