Life Verse/Quote:
1 Corinthians 10:31 – Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do it all to the glory of God. We must all strive even though we fail to do all things to God’s glory. Which also means giving everything 110% of yourself.
Description of your years at UBCS:
I attended Upper Bucks from K-12 13 years that prepared me to head to college with a sound high school education. This was accomplished through great teachers like Mr. Albert Van Osten, Mr. Phil Larson, and Mr. Rick Harris, who not only taught, but coached me while at Upper Bucks. I am also very thankful for the athletic experience that I had at UBCS. And for coaches like Mr. Audie Mook who showed us not only how to be better, but also if you are going to take the time to practice and play the game – do it better than anyone else. I am thankful for this because athletics was and still is a very big part of my life.
I was also soberly reminded by the very first death of a classmate (Rod Hinkle) of the bond that you develop with classmates just because you graduated together. But most importantly I was reminded of how short life is, and how we need to make our lives count and make an impact for the Lord.
What does Christian education mean to you?
Christian education is a privilege, especially when our parents have to sacrifice other things to put you through. Christian education is also critical in order to ensure that your child is given those foundational building blocks to build the rest of their lives on. I am very thankful that even when the times came when I thought I had a better plan for my life and education that my parents knew that UBCS was the place for me. I am thankful for a Christian education. There is still no other school that measures up to UBCS.
