School Accreditation

School Accreditation

UBCS is a member of the Keystone Christian Education Association and was first accredited in September, 1988.  A re-evaluation was conducted in December, 1994 resulting in UBCS again receiving full accreditation each year.

Faculty Certification:  The Keystone Christian Education Association program incorporates the measurable qualities of a staff member with the recommendations of his employers as it evaluates the overall credentials of that teacher.  The program examines five critical areas which include: academic preparation, spiritual development, job performance, professional growth, and professional history.  Within each area of specialization, KCEA has developed levels of teacher certification.  As a teacher progresses in experience and professional development, he is able to advance through the levels to a permanent certification.  Each faculty member at UBCS must meet basic criterion and work towards advancement.
