Our History

Upper Bucks Christian School is a ministry of Bethel Baptist Church and was founded in September 1968 with a kindergarten class of twelve students. By September 1975, an entire K–12 program was offered and the first graduation ceremony occurred in 1976 with nine graduating seniors. Today, over 200 daycare–12th grade students attend classes where they receive a Christian education with all subject matter being taught from a Biblical worldview. With the 2018 graduating class, we will have over 1000 graduates, and we are thrilled to see graduates of UBCS serving the Lord around the world in various vocations.

Our Mission

To educate the next generation with a Biblical worldview to lead, serve others, and love God.

In support of this mission, our core values are:

  • Preparing students to engage their world and culture for Christ
  • Pursuing excellence in academics, athletics, and the arts
  • Partnering with families in training their children to be committed followers of Christ
  • Striving for growth in spiritual formation and integrity
