Meet Our School Board Members
Brian graduated from Calvary Baptist School in 1991 and has a management degree from Pensacola Christian College. He and his wife, Lynn, have two children, and they currently live in East Greenville. Brian is passionate about UBCS and serves on the Initiative Team as well as coaches on the Varsity Boys basketball team.
Scott is a 1982 graduate of UBCS. He and his wife, Marie, live in Sellersville and have three grown children and three (soon to be four!) grandchildren. Scott has a Bible degree from Pensacola Christian College and Masters of Divinity from Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary. For the last 10 years, he has served as the associate administrator for Calvary Baptist School in Lansdale; he re-joined the UBCS family as administrator in the summer of 2017.
Newt graduated from Troy High School in 1994 and currently lives in Coopersburg with his wife, Beth, and two sons. He has earned his Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in psychology from DeSales University and, more recently, his masters degree in Professional Counseling from Lancaster Bible College. Newt is a veteran of the US Navy and has been employed in law enforcement since 1998. He is passionate about educating our youth through a biblical worldview and to the healing of individuals and families through a Faith-based approach to counseling and therapy.
Debbie graduated from Abington Heights High School in Clarks Summit and currently lives in Chalfont with her husband, Dave; together they have three children. She has a bachelor in education from Cedarville College and a masters degree from Hofstra University. Debbie has been involved in Christian education for over 25 years, ten of which were spent teaching at UBCS.
Chris graduated from Northside Christian School in 1998 and currently lives in Coopersburg with his wife, Trisha, and two children. He has earned his bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Clearwater Christian College, his master’s in Classroom Technology from Wilkes University, and his Doctorate in Education in Educational Technology and Management from Northcentral University. Chris teaches at Springhouse Middle School and is an adjunct professor for Aspen University, Franklin University, Wilkes University, and Wilson College where he writes and teaches both graduate and doctoral courses. He also serves on dissertation committees as a subject-matter expert for Aspen University. Chris is passionate about being a husband and a father as well as serving on the school board to help Upper Bucks Christian School provide a 21st century education that meets the needs of diverse learners and glorifies God.
Sarah graduated from Pennridge High School in 1998 and currently lives in the Sellersville area with her husband, Tom, and two children. She is a graduate of Messiah University and earned a degree in Elementary Education and a masters in Mathematics from Waldon University. Sarah is passionate about providing children with the tools they need to succeed through a strong, Biblical foundation and quality academics.
Wayne graduated from Upper Perkiomen High School in 1985 and currently lives in Harleysville with his wife, Amy and their two children. He has been employed as a Sales Manager for the Clemens Food Group at Hatfield Quality Meats since 1993, where he has also served on various other boards. Wayne is actively involved in his home church of Valley Forge Baptist in Collegeville and enjoys anything outdoors and spending time with his family.
Matt graduated from St. Benedict’s Preparatory School in 1985 and currently lives in the Center Valley area with his wife, Sarai, and two daughters. He graduated from Boston College where he earned his Bachelor’s in Marketing and from Rutgers University with his MBA. He works for Just Born Quality Confections as their VP of Sales and Marketing. Matt is also actively involved in his home church of Calvary Baptist Church in Easton. Matt is passionate about developing children to become leaders for Christ.
Terry graduated from St. Stephen’s High School (Trinidad) in 1979 and currently lives in Quakertown with his wife, Annie, and son; they also have a grown daughter living in the area with her husband as well. Since 1997, Terry has been a Production Manager at Keystone Food Products. Terry presently serves as a deacon at his home church of 28 years at Bethel Baptist Church. His passion in life is to serve the Lord to the fullest, in whatever capacity he is placed, and to instill that into the next generation.
