UBCS offers an educational experience starting with infants through senior year graduation. We offer a flexible schedule in our Day Care program and a full-time academic day for school-aged students.
Every child needs to develop skills necessary to build a solid educational foundation. At Upper Bucks Christian School and Daycare, students are given the opportunity to develop this foundation in numbers, letters, and motor skills in a Christian setting that will set the stage for future learning. We utilize teaching methods that foster a love for learning and encourage independent skills to help children succeed when they move up to elementary school.
Our elementary program is designed to help students develop a foundation that will allow them to excel in all subject areas. A Biblical worldview is integrated into all subject areas in all grades. Our reading program focuses on mastering phonics. Mathematics, grammar, spelling, science, history, geography, and penmanship are important elements of the elementary curriculum.
Kindergarten: Children should be five years old by September 1 to enter Kindergarten at Upper Bucks Christian School. A readiness evaluation is given to all Kindergarten applicants following the conclusion of each school year. It may be recommended that, in their best interest, some children wait until the next school year to enroll in Kindergarten.
The course of study for students entering middle school is challenging and motivating and taught from a strong Biblical worldview. The program is designed to help provide stability and support in a time of physical and emotional transition, as well as the necessary academic foundation the students will need in high school. Dedicated Christian teachers lead, encourage, inspire, and guide the middle school students as they navigate this time of transition.
Upper Bucks Christian School offers a college preparatory education in a loving and secure Christian atmosphere. Graduates of our high school attend colleges and universities all over the United States. Our teachers are known for their concern for their students’ individual academic needs, as well as their spiritual growth and social development. Students are given the opportunity to participate in a wide range of fine arts, athletics, and social activities.
