Annual Fund

The Annual Fund at Upper Bucks Christian School (UBCS) is a focused, end-of-year giving campaign. It relies on the generosity of a growing community of supporters to sustain the school’s mission. Donors to the Annual Fund have have been instrumental in both keeping tuition affordable for families and funding important projects across campus. Donations to the Annual Fund are tax-deductible and may be made online or may mailed to UBCS (754 E Rockhill Rd, Sellersville, PA 18960).

EITC

During the summer and fall UBCS promotes EITC. The state of Pennsylvania allows taxpayers to re-direct their state income tax to the private school of their choice through a program called the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC). For example, if a person’s state income tax amount is $3,000, that taxpayer can make a $3,000 donation to the benefit of UBCS and receive a 90% ($2,700) tax credit OFF of their total tax amount – reducing their amount of tax paid to the state to $300.

Dennis Woelkers' Memorial Sporting Clay Tournament to benefit UBCS

On the third Saturday of May each year, UBCS hosts the Dennis Woelkers’ Memorial Sporting Clay at Lehigh Valley Sporting Clay in Coplay, PA. Named for one of our most dedicated volunteers, this popular event brings together shooters of all skill levels to raise money for UBCS through sponsorships, registrations, and raffles. This is one of our most highly anticipated dates on the calendar.

As with most independent, Christian schools, UBCS relies on the generosity of donors to provide resources for students and faculty, enhancing the educational experience while keeping tuition as low as possible. Giving to UBCS strengthens and sustains the school’s long-term financial security. Every gift, large or small, makes a difference in the lives of our students, and we thank you in advance for your generosity.

Upper Bucks Christian School is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Your donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. No goods or services are provided in exchange for contributions.

Additional Ways To Give

We appreciate you taking time to research the many options and selecting those that best fit your generosity.

  • Gifts – In – Kind: UBCS welcomes gifts of needed goods and services, such as computers, musical instruments, sports equipment, costumes, and props.
  • Teacher “Wish List” Gifts: Our classrooms rely on the generosity of businesses and individuals to help provide state-of-the-art opportunities for students. Departmental Gifts allow for the purchase of new hands-on classroom resources. Gifts of any size are most welcome and gratefully received.
  • Matching Gifts: Many employers match contributions made to charitable organizations. Please ask your employer if there is a corporate matching gift program in place.
  • Donor Advised Funds (DAF)

Memorial Gifts

Memorial donations can go toward student scholarships, specific projects, or to the Christian Education Trust. Please include the name of the person in whose memory the donation is being made and the name and address of a family member.
